The technician that was signed my installation did not run a new line as needed to my apartment to connect the router, made every excuse to avoid having to do it. Not one appointment but two of them by the same technician. Still have no internet and my first installment appointment was about 2 months ago. Still waiting..

Cable not coming in no internet

Your techs have been to our home 2 timed in 1 month and I still don't have the error ,wi fi or internet working on our phones. We have cable TV but no internet. The 1st gental men was very helpful, but was worried about getting to lunch. Then we have to have some one come out again . The 2nd tech didn't even stay to see if things were working right. He just hooked things up and told me to try turning things on in 20 minutes . I'm not paying for the eero,WI fi or internet service, we haven't had for 2 months now.

You asked for it

We are still having issues with the signal strength and they have ordered for a mechanic to check everything over and then they are going to come back to double check the system to make sure it is working like it is supposed too. We were glad we had someone who has been with company for a while to explain things to us. You need to retrain your younger people to do things better and to explain things and not have it seem like we are a burden to them , its their job.

Downed cable wire

I have a cable wire down from the pole to my house. Have called twice to report it and have them come out and remove it. Still no one has been here. We are no longer a Mediacom customer-cancelled after 27 years due to costs increase

Billing and cancellation

I received a call from Mediacom collections this morning resulting from my cancellation over 2 months ago. I called to cancel the services, all equipment was returned and they confirmed that I there had not been any activity on my account since my original call.

The problem is that they never cancelled my account when I called. I was receiving notices in email and calls in January about overdue billing. I called at that time (a month ago) and again asked them to cancel. At that time, they agreed that my account should have been cancelled earlier but wasn't.

Nothing was ever said about money that was still owed. All of this has not led to my account being sent to collections and my receiving calls about that! Again I called today to explain the whole deal.

I guess it was a good thing I went with another provider but getting free of Mediacom is still not resolved. NEVER AGAIN MEDIACOM.

Wrong Installation Date and Can’t Access Account

Hello,

I recently signed up for a mediacom account for internet and specifically scheduled my installation for March 9th. When I checked my confirmation email, they said the installation date will be February 16th.

This is not the date I chose on the website when I was ordering.

When I try to access my account to change the password, I cant get in. It says the account cant be verified, and every time I try to do two factor authentication or say I forgot my password it just redirects me back to the log in page.

This has already left a very sour taste in my mouth about Mediacom and we will be switching to Century Link as soon as this contract is up. Please let me know how I can actually access my account and change the installation date to what I actually selected on the website.
